Quantitative Bias Analysis (QBA) assesses and adjusts for biases in epidemiological studies. This new special interest group promotes collaboration, knowledge dissemination, and innovation, connecting researchers to exchange insights, tackle challenges, and develop new QBA methods. Read more

Special Interest Group on Environmental Noise

Despite being the second leading environmental health risk after air pollution, environmental noise remains understudied. We seek to unite researchers—both new and experienced—to explore its health effects, collaborate globally with the International Commission on the Biological Effects of Noise (ICBEN), and address key methodological challenges in noise epidemiology. Special Interest Group on Socio-Environmental Research

Environmental exposures and social conditions jointly influence health outcomes, yet they are often examined in isolation. The Special Interest Group (SIG) on Socio-Environmental Research aims to bring together researchers investigating these interactions through rigorous scientific inquiry and methodological innovation. Read more

Special Interest Group on Climate Change and Health

This SIG aims to provide a forum for ISEE members to initiate and discuss research on climate change and health, identify research gaps, and the potential for developing collaborative research. This SIG will explore how ISEE can be most effective in advocacy to support more ambitious local to global negotiations and actions at the nexus of health and climate change mitigation, adaptation and resilience.

EPILOG fosters knowledge exchange, lifelong learning, and community, blending “EPI” (epidemiology) and “LOG” (logging one's experiences) while also referencing “epilogue” as a closing reflection.
