Each newsletter, we’ll be adding in some quick updates on what’s happening with the NAC Policy Committee. If you’re ever interested in getting involved, please send an email to learn more about the many ways you can get involved (even with no policy background)!
Among many other initiatives, we’ve been focusing on preparing an ISEE NAC Advocacy Day on Capitol Hill to occur just after the NAC conference in Baltimore, on June 4, 2026. This will be an opportunity for ISEE members to meet with congresspeople (or, most likely, their staff). This will be a fantastic opportunity to share your science, practice science communication, and discuss the importance of evidence-based environmental health policy to improve lives.
Now, more than ever, it is critical that legislators understand the value of environmental epidemiology and our impact on public health! If you’re interested in attending, please fill out the form below to express interest. Questions about Advocacy Day should be sent to Ariana Haidari |
