Special Interest Group on Quantitative Bias Analysis (QBA)

Quantitative Bias Analysis (QBA) assesses and adjusts for biases in epidemiological studies. This new special interest group promotes collaboration, knowledge dissemination, and innovation, connecting researchers to exchange insights, tackle challenges, and develop new QBA methods. Read more

Special Interest Group on Socio-Environmental Research

Environmental exposures and social conditions jointly influence health outcomes, yet they are often examined in isolation. The Special Interest Group (SIG) on Socio-Environmental Research aims to bring together researchers investigating these interactions through rigorous scientific inquiry and methodological innovation. Read more

Special Interest Group on Climate Change and Health

This SIG aims to provide a forum for ISEE members to initiate and discuss research on climate change and health, identify research gaps, and the potential for developing collaborative research. This SIG will explore how ISEE can be most effective in advocacy to support more ambitious local to global negotiations and actions at the nexus of health and climate change mitigation, adaptation and resilience.

Call for ISEE-Sponsored Commentaries for Publication in Environmental Epidemiology

We invite ISEE members to submit commentaries and policy statements. Commentaries can be on any topic of broad interest to ISEE and the readership of Environmental Epidemiology. We would like to publish commentaries that represent a diversity of perspectives and build the capacity of the ISEE and Environmental Epidemiology global community. Read more

Supporting Publication Costs for Authors from LMICs! 

Recognizing the need to support up and coming work from our members and the increasing cost of article publication fees, the ISEE Communications Committee is excited to announce the re-launch of the program that will support some of our ISEE members from low- and middle-income countries (LMICs) by providing funding to cover publication costs. Latin America and the Caribbean Chapter

LAC Young Researchers in Environmental Health Meeting

Are you a young researcher from Latin America and the Caribbean (LAC) and want to share your research?  The ISEE - LAC Chapter is making a broad call for abstracts submission by May 15, 2025, for the '3rd Meeting of Young Researchers in Environmental Health of Latin America and the Caribbean'. This online and free event will be held on November 12 -14, 2025, organized by the ISEE-LAC Chapter and hosted by Universidad Peruana Cayetano Heredia in Lima, Peru. Environmental Noise SIG: Webinar on 21 May!

We are pleased to present a collaborative webinar hosted by the ISEE Special Interest Group (SIG) on Environmental Noise and the International Commission on Biological Effects of Noise (ICBEN) Team 3 (Non-Auditory Effects of Noise). This session will explore three critical topics: (1) noise exposure assessment, (2) the non-auditory health effects of noise, and (3) current noise interventions.
