ISEE-NAC MENTORING PROGRAM

 

It’s that time of year again to set up a new round of ISEE NAC mentoring groups for 2025-2026. These groups are meant to be informal, cross-ISEE networks of junior and senior academics and professionals interested in gathering monthly to discuss a variety of topics.

Please fill out THIS FORM by May 30 if you are interested in participating. We will announce new group assignments in August and hold a kick-off meeting in September.

ISEE-NAC POLICY COMMITTEE OPPORTUNITY

 

Are you looking for ways to get involved in affecting recent environmental health policy changes in the US? Consider joining the ISEE-NAC Policy Committee to help with initiatives like ISEE policy statements, new directions in advocacy to critical audiences, and contributing your own ideas and expertise to affect evidence-based environmental health policy.

NOMINATIONS FOR THE CLEAN AIR SCIENTIFIC ADVISORY COMMITEE (CASAC)

 

The EPA SAB Staff Office announced that it is seeking nominations for the Clean Air Scientific Advisory Committee (CASAC). The CASAC is a chartered federal advisory committee that provides advice to the EPA Administrator on the scientific and technical aspects of air quality criteria and National Ambient Air Quality Standards (NAAQS). Nominations to the CASAC should be made using the web nomination link at the bottom of the CASAC homepage under “Public Input on Membership.” Nominations are sought by June 2, 2025.

Important notice for travel award applicants: All travel award applications are currently being reviewed. The selection committees work intensively to finalize the selection soon but want to ensure a careful and considerate selection process. As soon as the selection process is completed, applicants will be notified if they have been selected or not. Applicants may wait for the outcome before submitting payment for registration. Abstracts in this category will remain active until a final decision is communicated. If not selected, you may cancel your registration free of charge, and any paid fees will be fully reimbursed.
