The McGuinn Lab within the Institute for Population and Precision Health at the University of Chicago is seeking a highly motivated Postdoctoral Research Fellow. The postdoctoral fellow will work on projects at the intersection of epidemiology, psychology, and geography to examine social and environmental risk and resilience factors for mental and physical health outcomes across the life course using data from population health studies and electronic health records. Projects will additionally leverage digital technologies and geospatial analyses to assess exposures and health outcomes in vulnerable populations. This is an excellent opportunity for a candidate who is passionate about understanding how air pollution and non-chemical risk and resilience (i.e. noise, green space, discrimination, community deprivation) factors impact health outcomes, with a particular focus on health disparities and community engagement. Postdoctoral fellows will receive multidisciplinary training and are encouraged to participate in grant writing and other relevant training courses. This is a one-year position with the opportunity to renew for multiple years.

Qualifications:
- Doctoral degree in Epidemiology, Psychology, or related quantitative field.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Excellent data management and analysis skills including expertise in quantitative research methods and advanced statistical analyses.
- Proficiency in R or other statistical and/or geospatial analysis software.
- Expertise in digital health analyses, ecological momentary assessment methodologies, Geographic Information Systems (GIS), and/or machine learning is highly desirable.
- Candidates should have a strong interest in health disparities.
