This course is designed with early-career researchers in mind, grounding science communication in real-world experiences unique to this career stage. Course presenters will share diverse approaches to science communication, offering inspiration and tangible examples of how to communicate science effectively and find one’s voice. This course will provide practical resources for promoting one’s work in meaningful ways, such as crafting clear messages and understanding one’s audience. The course will also explore the nuanced realities of navigating science communication as an early-career researcher: seeking institutional support, building confidence through practice, and overcoming common challenges.
