Organized by the Barcelona Institute for Global Health (ISGlobal), the Spring School 2023 aims to support access to education and learning throughout life, promoting innovation and knowledge transfer through high-quality, inclusive, and equitable educational programs. It represents ISGlobal’s long-term commitment to global health equity as promoted by the 2030 Agenda.

It represents ISGlobal’s long-term commitment to global health equity as promoted by the 2030 Agenda.

This training targets postgraduate and Master's degree students, doctoral candidates, researchers, and other professionals interested in Global Health. The sessions are synchronous, participatory and interactive, and use examples and cases of success relevant to diverse parts of the globe.
The overall objective is to give an in-depth overview of the following topics with a focus on case-based and participatory learning:
- Modules taught in English:

• Module 1. Global Occupational Epidemiology. Teaching language: English
• Module 2. Impacts of climate change on human health and future livability. Teaching language: English
• Module 3. Implementation Science in Public Health: bridging the gap between research and “real world” implementation. Teaching language: English
• Module 4. Analysing time series data collected with digital technologies. Teaching language: English

- Modules taught in Spanish:

• Module 5. Traslación del Conocimiento. Teaching language: Spanish
• Module 6. Enfermedades Infecciosas Endémicas y Pandémicas y su Impacto Disruptivo en la Sociedad. Teaching language: Spanish

Note that the course is free of charge for ALL participants. When registering you will have to choose your module/s of interest bearing in mind that some modules will be running in parallel and you can only attend one of them. Also, notice that modules 5 and 6 will only be offered in Spanish. For more information please check the course webpage here.

The International Spring School in Global Health 2023, organized by ISGlobal, is funded by the Spanish Ministry of Foreign Affairs, European Union and Cooperation within the framework of a call for grants to hold conferences, seminars and other events related to sustainable development cooperation.
