Event Description

Please join the ISEE Ethics and Philosophy and Communications committees for our upcoming webinar, Artificial Intelligence in Environmental Epidemiology Research: Some Ethical Perspectives. Artificial intelligence applications are gaining momentum in epidemiological research and becoming integral to academia and policy. However, there has been a growing concern about its fair and ethical uses. Our two expert panelists, Drs. Martin Tondel and Jonah Lipsitt will explore such gaps, how to address them, and intend to share public opinion on actions. The webinar will be moderated by Drs. Diana Pacyga (Co-chair of the Communication Committee) and Atanu Sarkar (Chair of the Ethics and Philosophy Committee).
